Freebie QPs as Promised

I made another layout from Phillsboo's Boy-ish Add-on and Boy-ish Sample kit, which I made into a QP for you.

And here's the Magic QP. There is 2 versions of the QP in the download. I was thinking that some people may not know how to use the 3-photo QP since it is kind of tricky. So there's a 1-photo QP which is shown on the preview and there's a 3-photo QP which is the same from the layout in the previous post.

A Charity Kit...For Unto Us

During the Holiday season, I'm reminded of everything I'm thankful for and that even though times are tough for me and my family right now, there are still so many people out there that are worst off than me. I thank God everyday for his blessings - a roof over our heads, food on our table, family and friends who love us and most importantly for me, my beautiful healthy children.

The Designers at PDW have collaborated to put this beautiful kit together for one of our own that tragedy has befallen. (You can read more about it here at Courtney's blog. She also has a QP freebie on her blog that you can pick up.) It is called "For Unto Us...". It's an enormous kit that includes over 50 papers, over 150 elements, 2 alphas, $10 worth of gift certificates from various designers, over 50 of the templates from Racketty Scrappety herself, and a free gift with purchase! All proceeds will go towards Crew's mounting medical costs and other expenses for this family. Get this kit here to help out for this cause. Here's the preview:

New Kit from Adelina...Must Be Santa

Introducing Adelina's newest kit, Must Be Santa. Click on the image to be taken to the product in her store.

Isn't it a lovely kit? So festive and perfect for traditional Christmas projects, whether you create your own Christmas greeting cards, gift bags or layouts. The kit includes 22 papers (see preview below) and 47 elements. The kit is currently 50% off and Adelina has three bonus add-ons for you. Please visit her blog on how to get them.

And here's a layout I made from the kit. The photo is from Halley's very first Christmas. She wasn't even a year old yet. This is my favorite Christmas photo of her.

I'll be making another layout from this kit with a QP to give you. Now I owe you 2 QPs... but who's counting? LOL. I'll be back here early next week. It's my cousin Ashlee's 22nd birthday today and my aunt is throwing her a party in her home in Valencia. Yay! I love family gatherings. Have a great rest of the weekend! *Muah* ;D

CT Layouts and another Never Forgotten QP

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We sure did! If you want to see pictures from our Thanksgiving day, you can check them out here and here. These are 2 separate albums so be sure to view both.

So I haven't been doing a lot of scrapbooking lately because of the holidays. Not to mention my mojo kinda took a vacation as well, lol. But here are a couple of layouts I did before Thanksgiving that I just haven't had a chance to post.

The first layout is from Phillboo's Boy-ish Add-on kit. I know I promised a QP from the kit but it just hasn't happened. I wasn't too thrilled how this page turned out so I didn't make a QP out of it but if anyone is interested in a QP from this layout, please leave me a comment or email me and I'll be more than happy to make it for you.

The second layout is from Phillsboo's Magic kit. I'll be making a QP from this layout. Give me a day or two.

The third layout is from Phillsboo's Never Forgotten kit. Now for this one I did manage to do a QP to give away.

Win Phillsboo's Boy-ish Kit and a Freebie

Phillsboo and her Creative Team are having a RAK contest at DST. Click here to go to the thread for all the details. Basically, you'll have a chance to win Phillsboo's Boy-ish page kit just by posting a comment on the thread about your favorite little (or big) boy memory. It could be a story of your son, nephew, brother, cousin, etc. Since we love to laugh, the funnier, the better...or it could be a story that makes you go aaawww. Deadline is Saturday, November 29th. Phillsboo and her CT will vote for 3 winners. Winners will be announced on Sunday, November 30th. SO hurry on up and go to the thread to post your comment. Looking forward to announcing the three lucky winners. Here's a preview of the kit you can win.

And if you haven't picked up the Boy-ish Sample in Phillsboo's store, head on over there and get it now.

More Boy-ish Freebies for You

Just wanted to post some more freebies made from this kit. I have an add-on from Silvia and a QP from Nydia. I'm sorry to report that I haven't had a chance to create a QP from the add-on kit like I said I would. Life just took over the last couple of days. I will be working on it this weekend.

But before I get to the freebies, I wanted to let you know that Phillsboo is going to be retiring a couple of her older kits soon and they're both 50% off right now at the DAC Boutique. So make sure to grab them before they're gone forever. While you're there, make sure to check out the rest of her store. She has a bunch of awesome kits and freebie add-ons & QPs to go with her kits. Here are the previews for Never Forgotten and Magic.

Now back to Boy-ish...I forgot to tell you last time that Phillsboo also has the entire collection in her store. It includes the page kit, the add-on and the quick page album and it's also 30% off for a limited time.

So on to the freebies. Here's Phillsboo's freebie that you can grab at her store. This is more than just a sampler, it's a mini kit. (Image is clickable)

And here's Nydia's freebie QP. Click on the image to be taken to her blog to download. Please make sure to leave her some love. :)

Well, gots to get back to scrappin'. I'll be back later with some layouts from Never Forgotten and Magic kits and hopefully, a freebie QP from Boy-ish Add-on. See ya! <3

New Kit by Phillsboo and a Freebie QP

The moment we've been waiting for... Phillsboo's kit Boy-ish is finally in her store at Digital-Arts Cafe. This is such a cute kit! Perfect for those who have boys. It's so hard to find a nice kit to scrap photos of boys without looking too girly. I'm sure there's plenty of scrappers out there that knows exactly what I'm talking about. This kit comes with 22 papers and 54 elements...and for a limited time at an introductory price of 30% off retail value. Here's a preview of the kit.

And if that's not enough for you, she also has an add-on to the kit. This add-on contains 18 papers and 39 elements and is also 30% off.

And here are the layouts I made with the kit. As you can tell, I got stack-happy with the papers, lol. With so many papers to choose from, it was hard for me to pick just one. My sons GJ and Jerman are such goofballs. They crack me up! ;D

Finally, here's the freebie QP I made from the first layout. I hope you like it.

Be sure to come back later this week. I'll try to put together another QP for you, this time from her add-on kit. :) Oh did I mention that I signed up for the DAC blog party that starts the first week of December? I'm gonna try designing some things to give away, but don't hold your breath, ok? Wouldn't want anyone passing out on me, lol... if not, I'll still have QPs to give away.

The PDW designers have been super busy and have lots of new releases that will be in the store tomorrow. I'll be back tomorrow with some more layouts to show you. Enjoy your evening!

You have til midnight November 30th to complete the challenge. Here's the preview of the kit we used for this challenge. It's called Ever After and the designer is Athena.

Have a good night! I'll see you back here tomorrow. :)

A Couple More Layouts

I'm in a scrapping frenzy...2 more LOs to show you and I'm working on a few more for today. I'm gonna start off with the Autumn Glow kit by Julie.Itis.

When I first picked this kit to work on, I thought I would be going with a fall theme, just as the title of the kit suggests. However, when trying to figure out which photo to use with the kit, I ran into a stumbling block. As you may remember, my other HD that stores ALL of my photos got messed up about a couple weeks back. So I've been looking in my Shutterfly account for pictures. Well, I couldn't find one...so I thought, what other kind of photos would go with this kit? Duh, Christmas photos, of course...lol. So here's the layout I made with this kit using Christmas portraits from last year.

Next kit I worked on is Farmhouse Christmas mini kit by Gypsy Couture. This kit is not yet in stores but will be available at Plain Digital Wrapper really soon.

Well, I lucked out on this layout. I have plenty of Christmas photos. :)

Well, this all for now. Will be back later with more layouts to show off. :)

Love Birds QP and Another Freebie

It's 2am Sunday morning and I'm still up. I took a short nap earlier and now I can't sleep so I decided to finish my layout for Kaylek's newest kit, Love Birds. You can get this kit at Plain Digital Wrapper or click on the preview to be taken to the kit directly in the store. While you're there, be sure to browse around. There are plenty of gorgeous kits in the store and quite a few of them are on sale. :) Here's the preview of the kit again.

And here's the layout I made using the kit. Let me tell you, I LOVE this kit. It has a very romantic feel and perfect for all your pictures with your love bird.

And I also created a Freebie QP for you. I hope you like it as much as I do. :)

Click here or the image to download.

Want another freebie? Kaylek is giving away this freebie on her blog. Please make sure to leave her some love for the awesome job she did on this kit. She is one very talented designer.

Oh did I mention, Kaylek will be redesigning my blog. She's working on it as we speak. Can't wait to see what she comes up with. I'm sure it will be beautiful! Also, I got me a Chat Box. Woohoo! Now you can leave all your wonderful comments with ease, hahaha!

It's a Bit Chilly Now...

That's because I just found out that Adelina's newest kit, Winter Chill is now in her shop at Scrap-N-Tag. And for a limited time, it is being offered at an introductory price of 25% off the regular price. So head on to the store to grab the kit while it's on sale. She also has a QP pack on sale as well.

And here are the layouts I created using the kit. For the first LO, I used the font Vivaldi for the title and joeHand2 for the date.

And for this LO, I used fonts Wilderness for "Creating" and Vivaldi for "Memories".
And here's the freebie QP I made from my first LO. I also created a QP from the second LO too but Adelina will be putting in a QP pack that she will be selling in her store.
Click here or the image to download.

Now I know 4Shared changed the way you can leave comments, so don't worry about leaving comments over there if you can't but if you would kindly leave a comment here on my blog, that would be very much appreciated. Let me know what you think of my QP and maybe even give me suggestions on what you would like to see. :)

But seriously now, this is it for today, LOL! Ciao!

A Special Thanks...
